Lukewarm Sucks, Progressing to Opposites

Several Congress people this week confronted Timothy Geitner about the Constitutionality of his power grab. I called Michele Bachmann's Minnesota office to thank her and encourage a continuation of her efforts. There are still a poor minority in office who show any good character and I will encourage those who show signs of clear Constitutional thinking. The power to confiscate and close businesses for arbitrary or almost any reason is Theft.

A number of reporters are looking into the border situation. We are supporting drug cartels and so far are not changing that support as a nation but even the Secretary of State Mrs Clinton is talking about solutions. There is corruption to the top of government so it will be a true change when it happens. Evan Mecham sacrificed his political life, financial security, health and peace to try to rid Arizona of the corruption that is a way of life in Arizona (probably all states share that problem) and Mexico. He did not succeed but made many aware of it's presence. We now have a lot more people admitting that there is a problem, not enough but there is progress. As in all wars there will be causalities and set backs but this month more was exposed than in any month I remember.

I do think that most people need repentance and to change completely so has this happened? No! Will it and how destructive may it be? I surely cannot do more than guess, but I do think all will be given the chance to change and accept God's ways in government as well as all aspects of life. To fight and resist is to lose all. I have faced losing my all a few times in life and continually come up with repentance and following gospel principles as the only way to rebuild all aspects of my personal life. Since Government is just an extension of all persons lives, all of government and all individuals will ultimately need to align with God or fail. To make these kind of changes people need to face great loss and tragedy. We are in the tragedy and loss time for most, but we all need to learn and stay close to Gospel Principles. That will help all who want that kind of help.

Church attendance, prayer, service are all important but living right is more important than all else. The Lord gives individual instructions through study and asking His instructions, our conscience and then expects us to obey and become more like Him because of that obedience. I write as a bit of instruction for myself and post on my blog here. Maybe I would do better to keep my writings to myself. I cannot as I feel compelled to write and post as a response to instructions from Elder M. Russell Ballard as posted in the Header above. "Make sure, that the choices you make in the use of new media are choices that expand your mind, increase your opportunities, and feed your soul." I am learning and doing and sharing and it beats a lot of sites I could visit.

I have lived with plenty and had most I wanted and all I needed most of my Adult life. I got a rough start as a "Hippie" teenager in the late 1960-early 1970's and have at times reminded myself of hard times by challenging myself and sharing with others, and now I try to renew the Sacrament Covenants daily. I would suggest that many will need to repent (I need it and try to take advantage daily) and all will suffer (I lost $5.00 per hour income recently) some in the pursuit of the Gospel centred world that is promised will be our home here on Earth. Just like the Patriots of mid to late 1700's, we will be required to sacrifice all we have and are to help America be the prophesied land where Jesus Christ will return.

A concurrent RESOLUTION

Claiming sovereignty under the tenth amendment to the constitution of the united states over certain powers, serving notice to the federal government to cease and desist certain mandates and providing that certain federal legislation be prohibited or repealed.


Whereas, the Tenth Amendment to the Constitution of the United States reads as follows: "The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people"; and

Whereas, the Tenth Amendment defines the total scope of federal power as being that specifically granted by the Constitution of the United States and no more; and

Whereas, the scope of power defined by the Tenth Amendment means that the federal government was created by the states specifically to be an agent of the states; and

Whereas, today, in 2009, the states are demonstrably treated as agents of the federal government; and

Whereas, many federal laws are directly in violation of the Tenth Amendment to the Constitution of the United States; and

WHEREAS, the Tenth Amendment assures that we, the people of the United States of America and each sovereign state in the Union of States, now have, and have always had, rights the federal government may not usurp; and

Whereas, Article IV, section 4, United States Constitution, says in part, "The United States shall guarantee to every State in this Union a Republican Form of Government", and the Ninth Amendment states that "The enumeration in the Constitution, of certain rights, shall not be construed to deny or disparage others retained by the people"; and

Whereas, the United States Supreme Court has ruled in New York v. United States, 112 S. Ct. 2408 (1992), that Congress may not simply commandeer the legislative and regulatory processes of the states; and

Whereas, a number of proposals from previous administrations and some now pending from the present administration and from Congress may further violate the Constitution of the United States.

Therefore

Be it resolved by the House of Representatives of the State of Arizona, the Senate concurring, that:

1. That the State of Arizona hereby claims sovereignty under the Tenth Amendment to the Constitution of the United States over all powers not otherwise enumerated and granted to the federal government by the Constitution of the United States.

2. That this Resolution serves as notice and demand to the federal government, as our agent, to cease and desist, effective immediately, mandates that are beyond the scope of these constitutionally delegated powers.

3. That all compulsory federal legislation that directs states to comply under threat of civil or criminal penalties or sanctions or requires states to pass legislation or lose federal funding be prohibited or repealed.

4. That the Secretary of State of the State of Arizona transmit copies of this resolution to the President of the United States, the President of the United States Senate, the Speaker of the United States House of Representatives, the Speaker of the House and the President of the Senate of each state's legislature and each Member of Congress from the State of Arizona.

"The package, called the Generations Invigorating Volunteerism and Education Act, or GIVE Act, encourages a broad range of Americans to give back to their communities. It would create five groups to help poor people, improve education, encourage energy efficiency, strengthen access to health care and assist veterans."

This is a dangerous and wasteful proposal. Americans do not need to be forced to serve, they already give more than any country. Family is the place to learn about service, and this takes youth for training at the most vulnerable time for many childeren. Any time you tax at the Federal level and then return the taxes as a service or commodity you will lose 90% of the money to waste and graft. There is no Constitutional authority for this expense or forced service.

There are dangerous precedent of miss-use of youth groups that governments of totalitarian can train to do horrendous things as youth are more easily miss-led. Bill Ayers has made a life after his Weatherman terrorist activities of training youth to subvert our Constitutional government. Ayers was the founder of the Chicago Annenberg Challenge, or CAC, which bills itself as a school reform organization, and also served as co-chairman of the Chicago School Reform Collaborative. What he failed to do as a terrorist can more easily be accomplished by subversive education to children.

Luke Warm to be Spued Out!!!

I am very pleased to see that many Americans are standing up for the US Constitution, Freedom, Liberty, Morality, Spending Restraints, Taxing Restraints, Personal Responsibility and many other principles that have made America great. I have not voted by Party for almost 20 years because I placed a value on my votes. I have to live with myself more than I have to live with any politician who may win an election. I believe the scriptures apply to now more than at any time in history because they were written for sustaining us against the worse that Satan can throw against us with all of 1/3 of the hosts of heaven's pre-mortal existence.

Consider this verse from Revelations 3:16 "So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth." I have seen the Presidents Bush and many Republicans as the very people talked about in this verse. They were taking America down the road to a New World Order, or whatever you want to call it this year, and selling our rights and freedoms away as surely as President Obama is. They were moving much more cautiously and under more cover of deceit and secret combinations. Is President Obama a part of the secret combinations that are prophecied about? You can judge but I recommend that you decide, only after reading all of the Scripture references and praying to really know, by the power of the Holy Spirit or the "Spirit of Truth".

Protection against the influence of the devil is found by obedience to the commandments and laws of the gospel of Jesus Christ. The message of all the prophets and apostles is that truth, righteousness, and peace shall in the end prevail over error, sin, and war; the faithful shall triumph over all their afflictions and enemies, and shall triumph over the devil. There shall be a complete and lasting victory of righteousness over wickedness on this earth, which will be done by the power of the Lord Jesus Christ.

Many people were lulled to compliance by the "lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot" offerings from both parties these last 20 years. Lukewarm could be stated as Moderate Republican or Moderate Democrat, both of which did a lot of damage by not following the US Constitution. They always were just far enough down the road to destroy America that nobody really guessed they were selling America out for their own gains and power and prestige. We need to keep on top of things now and make necessary changes to return to being God's Country, living by His standards as best as we can or we will see the next terrorist attack be an enemy invasion for the first time in These United States of America. We already have Red China owning Panama Canal and Russia moving Air bases as close as Venezuela and Cuba. We have a government moving helter skelter towards Communism, Totalitarianism or Socialism of some decadent sort. I for myself and all I can control will serve God and I pray that all of America does the same. I pray that all of the world follows the God of our birth and creation as we have been blessed by Him and owe all we have and are to Him. Happiness is what God desires for us, as the scriptures so often remind us. This earth is a joyous place with much beauty and regenerative powers and it is obedient to it's creator, even God our Heavenly Father.

Government's Powers to Take Over Business?

Does a government have any powers to take over business? Does the US Constitution give the power to a president and his treasury secretary to take over or shut down a business for any reason? Where does a Government get it's powers from? These questions must be answered now as our sitting president and his treasury secretary both see a need and have a desire for that much power.

Personally I do not trust anybody to take over another man's property, which is what a business is, without the owners expressed permissions. God gave man the right to own property and never gave anybody the power to take that property without being in violation of the laws to not steal and not covet another's possessions. Since He never gave a man that power, it follows that He never gave the government, that man had created, the power to confiscate the business or any other property. I make a simple plea and statement that this is one of the worse power grabs in America's history and must not be allowed to happen.
